Where is Gujarat R&B SOR?
Gujarat R&B Civil SoR 2022-23 (and its Revised amendment) is the parent state-civil SOR, hosted on the WASMO portal at wasmows.gujarat.gov.in/sor. Most Gujarat municipal corps (Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Gandhinagar) and authorities (GIDC, GHB, GSPHC, GMB civil) base their estimates on this parent document. The R&B Works Monitoring System (rnbwms.guj.nic.in) is a project tracker, not a separate rate book.
What is GWSSB Civil SoR used for?
GWSSB (Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board) Civil SoR covers earthwork, RCC, masonry, plumbing, mechanical and electrical items relevant to water-supply schemes — distribution mains, ESRs (elevated reservoirs), GLRs, intake works, treatment plants, sewerage networks.
Why does R&B Electrical have a separate three-PDF series?
The R&B Electrical Wing handles street-lighting, traffic signals, sub-station works under R&B jurisdiction. The schedule was historically split into chapters 1-6, 7-9, 10-13 for printing convenience.
Does AMC Ahmedabad publish its own SOR?
Yes. AMC publishes city-specific Building SOR and Road & Bridge SOR (both 2023-24 linked here) for civic works inside Ahmedabad city limits. AMC's water-supply works use GWSSB rates as the base.
What about JJM (Jal Jeevan Mission) in Gujarat?
Gujarat JJM works use GWSSB Civil SoR for the rural water-supply scheme components — village reservoirs, household tap connections, distribution networks.
