Construction equipment mobilization is one of the most cost-sensitive operations at project kickoff. Equipment (excavators, cranes, concrete pumps, gensets) hired at ₹50,000-5 lakh per month per unit; delays in mobilization = lost productivity = liquidated damages.
The Mobilization Report documents what equipment was brought to site, condition on arrival, calibration / inspection status, operator qualifications, insurance + statutory compliances. Without this, disputes about 'what was actually delivered' arise; sub-standard equipment is accepted by default; safety incidents have no documentation trail.
