IS 7834:2000 (Part 5) is the Indian Standard (BIS) for injection moulded pvc socket fittings with solvent cement joints for water supplies, part 5: specific requirements for 45-degree tees. This standard specifies the material requirements, dimensions, and performance tests for injection-moulded 45-degree PVC tees. These fittings are designed for solvent cement jointing in uPVC piping systems used for water supplies. This part must be read in conjunction with IS 7834 (Part 1) for general requirements.
