About the CAD Library

Most free CAD libraries (Cadbull, dwgshare etc.) ship single-layer static DWGs of unknown provenance — mixed metric/imperial, wrong rebar grades, no IS-code reference. InfraLens generates clean DXF on demand from the IS / IRC code itself, with layers, dimensions, and Indian conventions baked in. Every drawing links back to the exact code clause it implements. What is the InfraLens CAD Library?

The InfraLens CAD Library is a collection of parametric drawing generators for Indian civil engineering. You enter dimensions + reinforcement parameters in your browser; the tool produces an AutoCAD-compatible DXF file plus a printable PDF — all in seconds, with no signup, no email gate, and no credit-system. Every drawing references the exact IS / IRC code clause it implements.

How is this different from other free CAD libraries?

Most free Indian CAD libraries (Cadbull, dwgshare, GrabCAD India) host static DWG files uploaded by users. Quality is uneven — wrong rebar grades, imperial/metric mixed, no IS-code references, fixed dimensions that don't match your project. The InfraLens approach is fundamentally different:

How to use a generator

All generators are client-side — your inputs never leave your browser, no data is logged, no IP is tracked. The DXF + PDF are generated in JavaScript and downloaded directly.

On a typical Indian RCC residential building (G+3, 8 columns, 2 floors), site engineers regularly need:

• 8 column footing drawings (typically 3-4 different sizes)
• BBS shapes for ~40-60 distinct bar marks (typical for 100 sq m built-up area)
